Nokia N85

Nokia N85 is inspired by the design of Nokia N81 and that is no secret. It sports a tri-band UMTS dual slider and is a quad-band GSM. Its most exciting feature is a 2.6″ 16M color AMOLED unit of QVGA resolution. It has dedicated gaming keys and a built in accelerometer for automatic rotation of the UI and supports HSDPA for increased data transfer speed.

The other features include microUSB slot,WLAN, Bluetooth, 3.5mm standard audio jack and GPS, runs on Symbian OS with S60UI and Feature Pack 2 preinstalled, has a 5mp camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and autofocus assist light mounted at the back of the device. It manages VGA video recording at up to 30fps and has a secondary camera at the front for video calls.

It has a built in memory of 74MB with an extendable memory slot, multimedia features include FM radio and FM transmitter. Good news is that an 8GB card ( the current largest ) will be included in the retail package.It will be available in Copper color in October for 450 euro ( 660 $US ) before taxes.

Nokia N79

Nokia N79 has better looks and is more compact. It has a 2.4″ QVGA resolution with 16m colors, has Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5mp camera, FM radio and FM transmitter, allows broadcasting favourite tracks within a short range.It runs on Symbian OS with S60 v3.2 UI same as N85, has 3.5mm standard audio jack, Bluetooth, microUSB slot. The internal memory is 50MB with an expandable microSD card slot ( a 4GB memory card will be included in the retail package).

It comes with two extra Xpress-on covers in the retail package and additional ones can also be purchased.The handset will reveal itself in Canvas White and Seal Grey color versions in October and will cost 350 euro (515 $US) before taxes.
