Samsung Touch Wiz also known as F480 is now available in the Indian markets. But, why are they calling it Touchwiz in India? Probably because they want to educate people that it is a touch screen phone and it does not have a keypad. Other wise it is called F480 in America and Samsung Toco in U.K.
Though it looks like the famous Samsung Armani and LG Prada the specifications are a bit better.
With the growing trend towards touch screen phones like Apple Iphone, HTC diamond etc, it is the must have mobile technology now-a-days around the world. Is the Samsung Touchwiz an Iphone Killer-No way, but it is still one of the best around.

Touchwiz uses a drag and drop technology, comes with 5 mega pixel camera, image stabilizer, auto focus, HSDPA support, metal body, face detection, 2.8 inch TFT screen, 240MB internal memory and up to 8GB expandable memory. Though it does not have many widgets, it comes with an open source software, so you can add stuff your self.

It is a bit expensive, priced as it is, at around Rs.21,000.

There are some rumours that the phone keeps dropping the calls after some time, so, caution.

I have a Samsung i710 which has the same kind of problem. I am planning to exchange it with the new F480

The Toco is a very nice phone with a touch of class however the rumour of the dropped calls is correct i am trying to sort mine out with the Orange shop that supplied me with mine.

Mine hasn’t dropped a call either, but I keep getting “the phone is busy” when trying to connect to the Samsung PC Studio.

hi iv got my samsung touchwiz for a wile now and it is a great phone ascept for the camera i also got a sony ericsson K800i and it got a 3.2mp camera so iv compared them and the 5mp touchwiz were not as i thought, but that it is my opinion.
still its a great phone!!!

I have this phone and the only issue is i have is it freexes up at time. only for a minute or 2, but never dropped a call.
