Motorola Rokr E8 is a sleek bar shaped phone with a unique interface. The haptic-enabled touch sensitive keypad has got good feedback. The best part about the keypad is that it doesn’t have any etched labels on the keys, instead the virtual keys change with the context. The music controls appear for the music player and letters and numbers surface for making a call or send a msg. The D-pad with its semi circular shape adds to the look of the phone and makes for a smooth rewinding and forwarding.

ROKR E8 is mainly designed keeping in mind the heavy music usage by its users. To confirm this you can find a headset jack on top of the device much like in a music player. It has its toggle buttons on the left and power switch and micro USB port on the right side. It displays the music controls by default. You have to press the left softkey which lights up the number pad enabling you to make a call.

ROKR E8 has a 2mp camera with video, has all the messaging features-Email, MMS and SMS, EMS, IM, has 2G network, 2GB Internal Memory, protected microSD slot, Stereo, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Airplane Mode, WAP 2.0, Media Player, photocall phonebook which  stores 50records each of dialled, received and missed calls, has GPRS, EDGE, Java MIDP, FM and comes along with calendar, calculator.

Motorola E8 is equipped with a 2″ 262K-color QVGA display and comes in a size 115×53x10.6mm weighing 100gms. It comes in Dark Navy and Platinum colors. It has a Li-lon 970 mAh (BK60) battery which has a talk time of 5hrs and standby time of 300 hrs.
