These days the 5 mega pixel camera phones have become old fashioned, the latest in thing are the 8 mega pixel camera. All the major brands have come up with their eight mega pixel camera, be it LG, SONY or Samsung. Talking about Samsung, it had launched the i8510 INNOV8 slider phone in this segment, but now it has come up with a new phone. This one is known as the Bresson or Pixon M8800.
The Bresson or Pixon M8800 has a 3.2-inch touch screen display with a fantastic resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The phone has fantastic features like, 3G along with HSDPA, Bluetooth with A2DP profile, EDGE as well as USB connectivity.
The phone also has an easy to use built-in GPS functionality. It also features an automatic screen rotation facility with a microSD card support meant for external memory. The phone has a proficient media player which plays DivX video. It also has an FM radio.
Talking about the 8 mega pixel camera, it has full auto-focus with settings like, face recognition complete with smile and blink detection.
The phone is poised to be in the luxury range with its price being estimated at around $800.
