Google recently launched its own answer to the iphone. The phone is known as Google G1 mobile phone or simply the Google phone.
The phone has an amazingly smooth touch screen. It also has a QWERTY keyboard for people who can not use touch screen easily. The phone allows the users to access the Internet through its Wi-Fi and 3G technology.
The phone also allows the users to download contents form the Internet. The phone also has the Google search services available at a simple touch. The phone also has a built-in GPS as well as a compass for easy navigation.
The phone also has a push Google email facility. There also is an option for instant messaging.
The users of this phone can actually download some extra software for a small price from the Android Market. For entertainment the phone has various games that include the popular Pac-Man. There also is some useful software like Shop Savvy. This software allows the users to click the photographs of a product barcode; they can then send it to Google which will help them in price comparison for that particular product.
It also has a one-touch music download facility for which it uses the Amazon MP3 store. The phone has an integrated storage capacity of 2GB that can be expanded up to 8GB.
