LG has recently introduced its new line of “Intenna” radio phone for India- LG GB110 and LG GB106. Yes, you got it right; they’re the “intenna” phones that offer a new package of radio entertainment without the need to attach a headset.

This is made possible by the integration of an FM antenna that is capable of accessing all FM stations.

It is complete with the basic features of a mobile phone plus a VGA camera, a micro SD card slot expandable to 2GB and a MP3 full song playback. These phones have an extended standby time of 440hrs for GB110 and 600hrs for GB106.

LG GB 106

The recently introduced LG GB 106 is an extremely user-friendly mobile phone that offers very basic features for those who opt for only the most fundamental functions in a cellular phone. In fact, it targets the middle class market because of its low price and features. However, unlike the old phones that serve the same purpose more than a decade ago, this model has a simple passive CSTN color screen, which has a 1.5 inch length when diagonally measured. Also, it has an FM radio, but it contains no other frills, like the camera or MP3 player. This justifies its reasonable price.

LG BG 110

LG’s new mobile phone introduced last month, the LG GB 110 is highly easy to operate and is fairly cheaply priced for a phone that offers a music player and camera. Although it comes with only 1GB memory, it has a MicroSD slot for an extra memory of 2 MB. It also has an FM radio and external speakers. Its camera is VGA, which is good enough for people who are not looking for extreme entertainment with their phone. Although this mobile phone contains more than the basic features and functions of the old phones, its features are nothing really fancy. This is perfect for the middle class market.

LG launches a sexy entry level clamshell LG KP152 in Brazil and it is said to be released soon in Europe, for which the date is not yet confirmed.

It is simple, goodlooking and a budget friendly handset. It is stylish and compact and for a $100 phone this is a beauty to behold. But yes, it isn’t so impressive on its features.

The phone is equipped with an integrated FM radio, a VGA camera and Tri band GSM/GPRS connectivity for the net. It measures 88 x 47 x 17.3 millimeters and weighs 80gms. It has TFT display with 65K colors(resolution not known), a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, talk time of 3.5 hours with the standby time clocked at 350 hours.

The LG KP152 will be available in two colours - red and black. The clamshell will have a retail price of somewhere around Rs 4900 ($100).

LG will soon unveil 2 new handsets for its range of camera phones. They are named as LG KC550 and LG ‘Secret’ (KF750).

According to the LG Business group head, there is a huge demand for a better quality camera phone and LG is responding to it by introducing these two models, each having 5MP camera. Apart from an impressive camera functionality, both these models will also have a number of fascinating and useful features. This will make the models a perfect blend of technology and style. After their successful launch of ‘Viewty’ model, LG seems confident about another great launch just in time for the Diwali Festival.

Specifically, the ‘Secret’ model has ‘Neon Touch Navigation’ buttons which responds to the user given commands with amazing light effects in lavish-blue color. Additionally, it also has motion sensor-based games, automatic luminance features. Another interesting feature is the ‘RockeTalk’ which is a fun way of communicating using pictures, videos and voice. What’s more, the display auto-rotates when the text is not enough. With this feature, users can search for people, take a look into their profiles and share them with friends. Connectivity with all the popular messengers like GTalk, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and AOL is also provided. A TV-out port means you can see all of your photos, documents and games on the big television screen!
