Motorola Rokr E8 is a sleek bar shaped phone with a unique interface. The haptic-enabled touch sensitive keypad has got good feedback. The best part about the keypad is that it doesn’t have any etched labels on the keys, instead the virtual keys change with the context. The music controls appear for the music player and letters and numbers surface for making a call or send a msg. The buzz is that Motorola is coming up with a QWERTY less touch screen phone, Motorola “Atila”. This phone, as according to BGR, should be a touch-screen mobile device and would run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
Functionality wise the Motorola “Atila” is to be a powerpack. Quad-band EDGE tri-band 3G, GPS, WiFi, Qualcomm 721a chipset, 1130 mAh battery will be some of its features. It is expected to measure 80 x 109 x 18.75 millimetres, which makes it somewhat comparable with the HTC Touch.
It is coming out with a 240×320 screen resolution which might disappoint a bit on the display part, but has what looks to be a genuine trackball. Not such a bad mobile set after all.
This phone isn’t really claiming to revolutionise anything in the mobile arena, but it should be at the very least a cute little one ready to take on the hearts of many.
It is expected to be released by Motorola quite soon.
ZN 200
The Motorola ZN200, Motorola W396 and Motorola W388 are the three low-end mobile phones.
Motorola ZN200 is a slider with quad-band GSM, EDGE and GPRS connectivity. It has a 2mp camera with fixed focus, and a 1.9 inch colour display. It is also equipped with bluetooth, USB, FM radioand, CrystalTalk technology and a 2GB microSD card slot.
