Kingston Technology displayed an array of flash prodcuts at the ongoing Image 2008 exhibition in Chennai. The Image 2008, is an international exhibition which showcases products like laptops, mobile phones, accessories and office equipment among scores of other things. The 3 day exhibition started on 25th July and will go on till July 27th.

Kingston displayed a variety of flash products both user-friendly and budget-friendly. The products include a full range of memory cards, Kingston’s Data Traveler Vaults, Data Transfer Locker USB, Data Traveler 100,110 and 101 drives and other trendy USB drives,

Kingston’s Data Traveler Vault, Privacy Edition is a secure waterproof drive that encrypts 100 per cent data. It is priced at Rs. 17,720 for a 8GB. Kingston’s Data Transfer Vault is a waterproof USB drive that is priced at Rs. 16,700 for 8GB and the Kingston’s Data Transfer Locker USB Flash is priced at Rs. 5600 for 8GB. Devotion knows no bounds. A devotee donated a diamond studded Motorola K1 at the famous Lord Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. The phone was auctioned for a record 15.55 lakhs.

Pratap Sarnaik, a member of NCP, Thane outbid twenty other bidders to own that Motorola K1, whose base price was set at Rs 3.30 lakhs by the temple authorities. The money got during the auction would be utilized for various charitable causes by the Temple Trust.

Pratap Sarnaik bought the phone to gift it to his party leader Ajit Pawar on his birthday.

What a way to appease the Gods and the Leaders!
