For its basic phone market, Nokia 1006 is introduced amongst the advanced and high-technology gadgets. It aims to provide convenience through its most rudimentary functions, such as SMS and calls perfect for the middle class market. This is also best for those who want to have an alternative phone in order to preserve their high class and expensive phones. 

It contains 262,000 colors, polyphonic ring tones, 500-contact phonebook, and speakerphone. This truly brings us back to the pioneer phones with similar features. In addition, it has a voice recorder and surprisingly, a voice command device. Entertainment, however, is limited to such features, including playing with wallpapers and screensavers.

As usual, Nokia has come up with a mobile phone with increased functionality and premium classic design, truly providing a brilliant user experience for its users. This handset has a sleek interface, which is simple and elegant enough for adult users and executives.

Nokia 6303

The neat-looking Nokia 6303 handset is equipped with black mat or stainless steel cover, perfect for the adult market opting for a class design. Its features the basic, but more advanced functions of SMS, email, and IM messaging capabilities, up to 7 hours of talk time, and a phonebook capable of 2000 entries.  

For the entertainment features, this handset includes a 3.2 mp camera with auto-focus and flash allowing you to capture high quality pictures and video. It also has MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, and voice memo. It has a 2.2 inch QVGA display that allows sharpness in image colors. For its web browser, it uses WAP 2.0. 

The spice S490 is considered to be the “student’s phone buddy” as it was designed with the students in mind. Critiques say that it can actually help students. It has an easy access feature to the online portal that gives you preparation for the CAT and ITT, not to mention the numerous professional examinations that students prepare for. It also has the friend finder function that enables increased social interaction.

LG GB 106

The recently introduced LG GB 106 is an extremely user-friendly mobile phone that offers very basic features for those who opt for only the most fundamental functions in a cellular phone. In fact, it targets the middle class market because of its low price and features. However, unlike the old phones that serve the same purpose more than a decade ago, this model has a simple passive CSTN color screen, which has a 1.5 inch length when diagonally measured. Also, it has an FM radio, but it contains no other frills, like the camera or MP3 player. This justifies its reasonable price. 
 

LG BG 110

LG’s new mobile phone introduced last month, the LG GB 110 is highly easy to operate and is fairly cheaply priced for a phone that offers a music player and camera. Although it comes with only 1GB memory, it has a MicroSD slot for an extra memory of 2 MB. It also has an FM radio and external speakers. Its camera is VGA, which is good enough for people who are not looking for extreme entertainment with their phone. Although this mobile phone contains more than the basic features and functions of the old phones, its features are nothing really fancy. This is perfect for the middle class market. 

Virgin Mobiles has produced one more signature V mobile meant for the Indian youth. vDesire is the name of the handset. The phone come with a Lifetime validity Prepaid connection. vDesire has a 65k color screen and FM Radio, Stereo headset and speakerphones.

The vDesire has a slim exterior which is a decent 11.5 mm. The phone has other notable features which include access to Vbytes - “Virgin Mobile’s data portal” where from wallpapers, ringtones and games downloads is just a click away. A 1000 SMS storage, a large internal phonebook capacity of 500 X 5 entries is what vDesire offers.

All of this is for Rs. 1,699 for the Indian youth. Don’t wait. Go grab your set right away.

Motoyuva 396 has been released in India. You already must be familiar with this Moto as this was talked about back in August when initially announced.

The Clamshell model sure seems to have more to its kitty than what was written about back then. The 1.8 inch 128×160, 65k color screen ensures clarity and good readability feature, the MP3 player which comes integrated together with a VGA camera, and FM radio with RDS has an additional feature to record FM radio and later use it as ringtone.

Then you have the music player which is an upgraded version of the Music ID application. You also have the MOTOMUSIC coming as an integral part of the phone. The Flight mode feature follows suit which enables usage of handset without the SIM. Interestingly this was available only in certain high-end segment handsets.
