W705 is an aluminium-crafted slider with a suble touch of gold on it. The Sony Ericsson W705 will be available in selected markets from Q1 2009 in the colors Luxury Silver and Passionate Red. According to sources it will start selling from February next year.
LG launches a sexy entry level clamshell LG KP152 in Brazil and it is said to be released soon in Europe, for which the date is not yet confirmed.
It is simple, goodlooking and a budget friendly handset. It is stylish and compact and for a $100 phone this is a beauty to behold. But yes, it isn’t so impressive on its features.
The phone is equipped with an integrated FM radio, a VGA camera and Tri band GSM/GPRS connectivity for the net. It measures 88 x 47 x 17.3 millimeters and weighs 80gms. It has TFT display with 65K colors(resolution not known), a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, talk time of 3.5 hours with the standby time clocked at 350 hours.
The LG KP152 will be available in two colours – red and black. The clamshell will have a retail price of somewhere around Rs 4900 ($100).
Intex adds four new GSM mobile phones to the Indian market. From among the four IN 2266 and IN 2010 can be categorized as low end and IN 5544 and IN 4444 as high end phones.
The Intex IN 5544 comes with a talktime of 3hrs and standby time of 200 hrs, has a 1.3 mp camera with 5x digital zoom, a memory space of 1000 contacts in its phonebook, supports Bluetooth and USB, has a 2 GB expandable T-Flash card. The color of the handset is a golden hue and is priced at a decent Rs 5,500.
The Intex IN 4444 handset features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 5×1 digital zoom, FM, music and video player and 3G support – an all in one multimedia phone. It has a video caller ID option, has a 2.0 inch wide TFT screen with 262k color display, 1000 contacts storage space, extendable 2 GB T-Flash card, supports GPRS, Bluetooth and USB. IN 4444 is available in cream and chocolate colors and is priced at Rs. 4,999.

The Intex IN 2266 comes as an enhanced music player with the FM supporting multiple languages. It has GPRS and a 2 GB T-Flash card. The mobile phone costs Rs 2,999 and comes in a black body.

The Intex IN 2010 has a music player, FM radio, has GPRS and an extendable 2 GB T-Flash card. The highlights here is the battery life which gives upto 100 min of talk time and 150 hrs of standby mode. IN 2010 is priced at Rs 2,200 and has color black on its body.
