
LG KF900 is keeping in pace with the Xperia’s and Android’s by launching Prada’s new version. A partnership this time unveils the successor of the extremely popular LG Prada phone. The new version is new in its slide out QWERTY keypad asides which it is fully identical to the original.
The detailed specification list of Prada II is not yet announced but all of its highlights are already known. A 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens replaces the 2 megapixel shooter of the original Prada. LG also included 3G and Wi-Fi to the KF900 Prada II. The 3G compatibility comes along with video calling.
The silver keyboard along with the additional on-screen call and hang-up buttons gives Prada II the edge over the original Prada. The 7.2Mbps HSDPA improves the data transfer rates even further.
The new Prada mobile will be available through major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands in the 4Q of 2008 at a starting price of Rs 38,975 (600 Euros).
HTC got real busy unveiling its 3 handsets
Touch HD

HTC’s Touch HD has that large 3.8 inch 800×400 screen, a 5mp, autofocus, front-facing,video, VGA videocall camera and a 3.5mm audio jack which keeps us guessing how it would be to have this in our hands. This roughed up and then groomed guy A837 from Samsung means business. This handset from Samsung is being launched in the market by AT&T.
The phone has push-to-talk, Bluetooth, Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, dual-band UMTS/HSDPA, video share, AT&T Navigator, AGPS, 1.3 megapixel camera, and allows conference calls.
This no nonsense handsome piece is going to hit the stands mid September and is priced from $99 - $150.
Nokia N85
Nokia N85 is inspired by the design of Nokia N81 and that is no secret. It sports a tri-band UMTS dual slider and is a quad-band GSM. Its most exciting feature is a 2.6″ 16M color AMOLED unit of QVGA resolution. It has dedicated gaming keys and a built in accelerometer for automatic rotation of the UI and supports HSDPA for increased data transfer speed.
The other features include microUSB slot,WLAN, Bluetooth, 3.5mm standard audio jack and GPS, runs on Symbian OS with S60UI and Feature Pack 2 preinstalled, has a 5mp camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and autofocus assist light mounted at the back of the device. LG announces another touch screen LG KC910 - a successor to LG Viewty. Claiming to be their next iKiller and in tune with the hot competitive market, it pitches against the other 8mp camera phones. This handset has an edge over the other 8mp’s with its touch screen handset and a much slimmer body.
It has a 3-inch TFT touch screen with a 240 x 400 pixel resolution, 8mp autofocus camera with a geo tagging feature, has Schneider-Kreuznach optics and Xenon flash and is capable of recording video with VGA(30 fps) and QVGA(120fps). It supports Xvid and DivX video playback and Dolby sound for music.
The handset supports Wi-fi, has 3G with HSDPA, Bluetooth with A2DP support,USB connectivity, MicroSD support for external memory and has a TVout feature.
